Rob Klingberg, owner of Brickstuff, recently tipped me off to an incredible MOC showing Brickstuff LEGO LED lighting in action.  The model, and impressive Hogan’s Heroes diorama, was built by Brian Williams.

Hogans Heroes - Overview

Brickstuff LEGO LED lights in action

While not a fan of the show, I have seen it, and can appreciate how accurate this MOC really is.  And what makes it special for me is the use of Brickstuff LEGO LED lighting.  Light just brings like to a model for me, and it really photographs well.  I love the shadows and depth the light creates.

Hogans Heroes - Night

Here you can see how versatile Brickstuff components are.  The connections on the single controller board are branched off multiple types, allowing for many LED lights to be installed throughout the model, yet be controlled from one simple device.  Brickstuff LEGO LED lighting is very well thought out.  The dual LED panels are mounted int he ceiling, and give overhead lighting in some of the later shots.Lights

I love the mood created by a single colored light source.Dark Room

This photo really does it for me.  The background is perfect.  It gives the impression of a cold winter’s night.  I wonder if the starburst from the light in the watchtower is real or SFX?  I love the light pouring out of the guard shack, and the light cast from the overhead light on the porch.Nightime

Here you can see the overhead lighting, and how effective it is.  All the shadows are right, and bring the scene to life.Klink's Dining RoomHave you incorporated LED lighting into any of your LEGO models yet?
