There were a LOT of LEGO sets unveiled at Toy Fair in New York.  I apologize for just now getting around to bringing them to you.  So far, I’ve shown you what to expect from LEGO Lord of the Rings and LEGO Lone Ranger.  Today, I give you the 2013 LEGO Creator sets! These, my friends, are the ones I’m most excited about. These LEGO Creator sets will be out in August.

Why am I so excited about these sets? Mostly, because the LEGO Creator sets are what I remember LEGO being when I was a child. You get a great selection of bricks, and you get instructions to build several models from them. They let your imagination play as much as your hands.

What kid wouldn’t want this treehouse in their backyard? Love the water bucket system for getting water up to the clubhouse. Reminds me of the treehouse from the awesome movie The Sandlot. Great looking part selection with good colors and detailing elements. Perfect for MOC builders! And a great price/piece ratio!

Bummed to see the fuselage is actually white. I was thinking it was silver! 🙁 Would have gotten SEVERAL of these if it was… So many nice detailing elements though.

LOTS of big, tan windows! LOTS of little tan windows! Two toned roof! Lovely detailing, and it looks like a fully furnished interior. I really wish it was a roll up style garage door though.

I can’t wait to get a hold of these LEGO Creator sets. Not for the models themselves, but for all the bricks included. I’ll certainly add a playground with a treehouse to my LEGO city, and will expand the family house into a LEGO townhouse. What are your thoughts on the LEGO Creator sets?
